Giveaway: The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa

It's giveaway time!
The people at Harlequin Teen have graciously allowed me to give away one copy of Julie Kagawa's latest book The Immortal Rules.

"In a future world, vampires reign. Humans are blood cattle. And one girl will search for the key to save humanity."Allison Sekemoto survives in the Fringe, the outermost circle of a vampire city. By day, she and her crew scavenge for food. By night, any one of them could be eaten.

Some days, all that drives Allie is her hatred of "them." The vampires who keep humans as blood cattle. Until the night Allie herself is attacked--and given the ultimate choice. Die...or become one of the monsters.

Faced with her own mortality, Allie becomes what she despises most. To survive, she must learn the rules of being immortal, including the most important: go long enough without human blood, and you will go mad.

Then Allie is forced to flee into the unknown, outside her city walls. There she joins a ragged band of humans who are seeking a legend--a possible cure to the disease that killed off most of humankind and created the rabids, the mindless creatures who threaten humans and vampires alike.

But it isn't easy to pass for human. Especially not around Zeke, who might see past the monster inside her. And Allie soon must decide what--and who--is worth dying for

  1. I would definitely choose to live forever because I'd be able to read more books.

  2. I wouldn't because everything, even books, would start to become boring.

  4. That's such a hard question. I really don't think I'd like to live forever. I've already lost most of my family, but outliving everyone has to be awfully lonely.

  7. Yes, because death freaks me out and I would be able to read a lot more books.

  8. I don't know if I would want to, the perks would be that I can have the time to read all the book I want but to outlive everyone I love I think would be very hard for me to deal with.

  9. It would depend on the circumstances, whether my family was still alive, whether I could make a difference by living forever.

  10. Yes, I would definitely choose to live forever. Because that would mean being able to see all of the world, and having time to do anything I wanted.

  13. It probably sounds like the easy way out, but in that moment I think I'd choose to be immortal. There are still too many things I want to do and too many places I want to go to slip quietly away at this point in my life!
