Follow Friday (23) Blog Hop (22)

BOOK BLOG HOP
If you could physically put yourself into a book or series…which one would it be and why?
Okay, if you've read any of my blog, or know me then you would have to know the answer to this question! Anyone? Vampire Academy....duh!  I ab-so-lute-ly love the VA series and everything about it. I know it's ended, but still who wouldn't want to be in a world with Rose, Lissa, Dimitri, Adrian, and Christian.

FOLLOW FRIDAY

Q. Inspired by the inane twitter trend of #100factsaboutme, give us five BOOK RELATED silly facts about you.

Hosted by Parajunkee
Five silly book facts huh?
1. I'm a bath tub reader. I've come very close to losing my darling books to the dreadful water. I always save them in the end though. :) You would think I'd learn by now.
2. If I find a book I already have that has a different cover I don't I usually get it.  Like last week I found the Uk cover of the Hunger Games, and got it.
3.I have a different ways of arranging my books. Now I have one shelf paperback the next hardback and so on..Flip flopping from paperback to hardback.
4. If it has a pretty cover the more interesting it becomes for me. It's the little things that fascinate me really.
5.No matter what I think Paranormal Ya will always be my number 1. I  try reading other things, but I always go back to the paranorm. :)

  7. Christy- lol. I can understand that. I think it's relaxing. It's more of a nightime thing for me to calm me down make me sleepy, and get in a little reading time. :)

  12. I went to Australia a couple of months ago and got all three Hunger Games books because of the different covers! (I definitely already have the hardcover box set, too....) I also got the white Twilight book -- but just the first one, and I regret not getting all of them.

  13. New Follower! Nice to meet you!

I'm a Cover Lover, too and starting a new meme or randome thought, etc... on it in a week or so!

I don't dare read in the tub! I have a kindle and if I dropped that in the tub I'd be screwed! I still read a lot of print copies, too, but I know I'd drop those I'm a total klutz!

    Stop by and see me!

  15. I really ought to stop taking my kindle into the bath, that or find something clear and waterproof to stick it in, to avoid disaster. Have a great weekend.

  16. Just hopping by, your newest follower. BTW, absolutely LOVE your header image and button - too cute!

I haven't read the Vampire Academy series yet, but it is on my never-ending TBR list. I recently started the Chicagoland Vampires series and love love love it - who wouldn't want to be surrounded by amazingly hot vamps? I switched to Shifters for a while, but I'm back in full Vamp mode now, lol.

And I totally feel the same way about book covers - if I haven't heard of a book or author but the cover is gorgeous, I'll buy it - if I hate the book, at least I can display the beautiful cover on my shelf.

Hop on over when you get a chance. Have a great weekend!

  17. Apologies in advance for my answer this week as it will not immediately resonate with the book blogger population which happens to be 99.5% female.

My choice is a book series geared towards guys which won’t enthrall the vast majority of my fellow book bloggers (who are almost entirely female) with the extensive discussion of powerful weapons and sexy milspec gear, beautiful women, eye-popping action sequences (with occasionally obscene violence), and the like.

But there IS something in my answer that just about everyone of the female persuasion can benefit from my decidedly “books for guys” post. Hop on over to http://www.howardsherman.net to find out what it is.

    Happy Hop Friday!

  19. Hi! Just swinging through on the Follow Friday. Hey, I got a real kick out of reading your "5 Silly Book Facts"! I hear ya on the paranormal thing. I am always pushing myself to read some other genre and find that I'm waiting for one of my paranormal characters to step out in the middle of the book.

Anyway, I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
